Ville Leinonen is a singer-songwriter who has been paving his own path since the late 1990s. The more experimental style of the early days changed to a more personal mellow rock at the turn of the 2000s, when Leinonen released albums with his band Valumo through Poko Records, which included hits such as "Star Girl", "Enkeli" and "Kultahippuhapsi".
V. Härkönen (Ville Härkönen) is also a long-time singer-songwriter, who has previously participated in e.g. in the bands Maryland, Velvet Revolution and Sonik. Under the name V. Härkönen, he has published his songs since 2019 on the Soit Se Silti record company. After the single and EP releases, in March 2024 it's time for the longplay "Lähinnä lävää". In Härkönen's music, guitar-indie, synafolk and avant-country play in harmony. His stories are about characters who navigate between everyday heroism and anti-heroism to the best of their abilities. They are observed attentively and sympathetically.
