Welcome to exhibition openings on Tuesday June 27th from 5-7 PM. Opening in the Tile and Cellar galleries Petra Giacomelli's ”Heinäkuun Yö - A July Night" is an exhibition inspired by a surrealist short story written by Bruno Schultz (1892-1942) , a polish jewish writer who lived in Drohobych, Austrian Galicia, today part of Ukraine. The exhibition consists of collage paintings on paper and canvas, artist books, beeswax sculptures and a musical videowork. In our Book Gallery we have ceramic sculptures in Sami Rinne's exhibition Ote yksisarvisten elämästä - A Glimpse into the lives of the unicorns, which depicts the joys and sorrows in the lives of the unicorns.
