In the Eye of the Beholder: portraits of Charles Bukowski

In the Eye of the Beholder is an extraordinary photography exhibition offering an intimate portrait of the legendary poet. The exhibition will have an opening reception on Tuesday October 6th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., but as Ganny herself is unable to attend the opening, we will host a separate artist talk with Joan Ganny and author Anna Piiroinen on Saturday October 10th, at 3 p.m.

The Osmo photo series is a rarely seen classic. It first appeared in Helsinki in 1989 and was last exhibited at the Mikkeli Centre of Photography in 2011. The monthly supplement of Helsingin Sanomat once featured Osmo in about ten of its issues.The exhibition opening will be celebrated on the Night of the Arts, August 20, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Borderlands, photographs

The photography exhibition Borderlands—a collaborative project by photographer Naoko Chiba and visual artist Antti Ylönen—showcases the rural landscapes, nature, and living environments of Japan and Finland. The exhibition also explores the history and memories of depopulating rural areas, the passage of time, and the sense of loss associated with the disappearance of traditional culture. The Enchantment of Textiles - works from 2002 to 2025

Tini Sauvo’s retrospective exhibition fills the Tile and Cellar Galleries in July. On display are textile paintings and material-based mixed-media works.
